A newborn baby usually has around 16 hours of sleep daily. Hence, it is important to ensure that the mattress fitted sheet is comfortable and safe for the baby. As such, Beblum has chosen Turkish jersey cotton to be the material of the fitted sheet, which is a premium and much stronger cotton which does not tear or degrade easily. The main difference between jersey cotton and normal cotton lies in the knitting and sewing technique. Jersey cotton requires a more advanced technique of knitting whereby only a handful of factories have the skills to produce it.
